Voice & Percussion
I am originally from Italy -half Indian. There, I started studying percussion with Maestro Bertelli since 2000. I specialised in marimba and vibraphone with Maestro Saverio Tasca, one of the best keyboard percussion players internationally. I performed in a variety of venues across Italy, including at TEATRO ARISTON Sanremo at a live TV event, and with Best Seller author Andrea De Carlo. I played as a solo performer, as well as with an orchestra and a folk Bengali music group.
I also studied Indian music with Arup Kanti Das and in India with Dilip Mukherjee. For vocal coach from Sing Smart Studios is Townsville’s James Ross.
Through your support not only I will be able to continue my music journey and my family (I am a proud solo mom of two!), but also my efforts for peace.
After conducting fieldwork in a remote post-conflict area for my doctoral research in Peace and Conflict Studies, and learning about the power of people’s action, I have developed a digital platform and App to share knowledge and resources that can help positive action and support bottom-up peacebuilding and nonviolent action.
I am currently working with researchers and small grassroot groups from different countries (and locally), so your contribution will have direct impact. This large project is completely independent and relies solely on voluntary contributions.
