The Everyday Peace Initiative is a timely and very promising venture which will be of real benefit to individuals, the community and government. There is a genuine need to apply Peace and Conflict theory and research to the real-world conflicts and challenges facing us today. The Everyday Peace Initiative will go a long way towards meeting this need and to making a real difference in people’s lives. This important initiative is led by world-class researchers like Dr Monica Carrer, who has the skills and deep knowledge of peace and conflict issues required to make the project a success. I highly commend this initiative for its positive vision and potential.”
